Italian fintech unicorn Satispay has marked a major expansion of its product ecosystem after reporting an ARR of €120m (June 2026). Building on the IBAN rollout earlier this year, the company has partnered with Mastercard to introduce physical and digital debit cards and is launching in‑app stock and ETF trading — a clear step toward becoming a full-service financial platform for its 6.5 million users and 450,000 merchants.
The new Mastercard cards come in three tiers aligned to Satispay subscription plans:
Satispay Plus (Red) — Platinum recycled‑PVC card with enhanced everyday benefits, double reward points and purchase insurance.
Satispay Metal — World Debit metal card aimed at travellers, with higher withdrawal limits, lounge discounts and triple points.
Satispay Velvet — World Elite metal card offering premium travel benefits, unlimited lounge access, top withdrawal limits and the richest insurance package.
All cards (also available digitally for wallets) offer global acceptance, zero FX fees on non‑Euro spend and free cash withdrawals within plan limits. The cards integrate with existing in‑app features — IBAN accounts, Pay in 3 instalments, savings and investment products — creating a unified user experience for receiving salary, spending, saving and investing.
On the investments front, Satispay is opening access to over 1,000 stocks and ETFs via a simple, guided interface. The service supports fractional shares (from €1), recurring plans (free on selected Vanguard ETFs) and transparent pricing at €0.89 per trade. The offering is designed to lower barriers for first‑time investors while serving more experienced users with a competitively priced execution model.
CEO Alberto Dalmasso framed the moves as part of a mission to simplify financial life: “We’re building a single space where people can manage money with simplicity and without borders.” Mastercard’s Italy head, Luca Corti, emphasised global acceptance and advanced security as core benefits of the tie‑up.
Why it matters: Satispay’s combined product set — accounts, cards, payments, BNPL, and investments — positions it as one of Europe’s most complete fintech super apps. The cross‑sell potential among 6.5 million users and merchant base could materially grow engagement and revenue per customer as Satispay broadens its monetisation levers.
